Last week’s blog was rather lengthy. So, this week, I will keep it short.

You are unique. One of one.  No one in the world is exactly like you. 

Yet, we all spend a great deal of time watching others.  Trying to be like them.  Forgetting our uniqueness. 

Only you have your talents, even if you haven’t figured out what they all are yet.

Only you have lived your story.  Know all the ins and outs, ups and downs, successes and losses, joy and sorrows.  

Only you know what you want. 

You can keep looking outside yourself for the answers, but the truth is, only you know the questions that need to be asked in the first place.

We all dream about what we want.  Something that, if it magically showed up on our doorstep, would make us “happy”.  But we rarely stop long enough to write it down. Make a plan.  Make it real. 

So…..What IS it you plan to do with your one wild and precious and VERY unique life? 

I invite you to stop right now. Just for 5 minutes.  Ask yourself, “What do I want today?”  Just today.  Start there.  Write it down. 

Then add one action you can do today that will move you in the direction of answering that question. 

Ask yourself daily what you need. AND then answer it.  Start small.  Dream big.  But never forget that YOU get to choose your life. 

You have five minutes a day to gift to yourself.  Take it. Own it.  Have fun with it. 

Baby steps add up to miles.
